New to Immunisations (Basic) N7A, Part 2, Cheshire & Merseyside CPD ONLY

Course Outline;

This is a 2-day course. This course is suitable for those eligible for CPD funding (please see list below). You must sign up for and attend part 1 and part 2 consecutively. Part 1 is taking place on 14th October.

Workbook includes;

- Practice manager agreement

- Sets out the expectations of the learning after the 2 day courses

- Will include the slides from both training days.

Please be aware that it is essential for attendees to complete the workbook, due to workbook file size this will be sent out to attendees up to a week prior to the training.

Certificate of training for new to immunisations will be provided once part 1 and 2 are completed by the student and the ownership for completing the workbook will sit with the employer and student. This means that the certificate will ONLY include theory training.

• Different types of vaccines Immunology – animation
• Workbook and expectations
• Documentation
• Anaphylaxis
• Administering vaccines

Day Two

• Patient group directions
• Patient Specific Directions
• National Immunisation schedule and Incomplete vaccinations
• Vaccine Preventable diseases
• Covid 19
• Adult Flu
• Shingles
• Pneumococcal
• RSV
• All elements regarding Paediatric national immunisation programme

THIS TRAINING IS FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR CPD WHITHIN CHESHIRE & MERSEYSIDE PRIMARY CARE TEAMS ONLY.

You will be required to give details of your NMC number and Practice/PCN name.

The following Primary Care staff are eligible for CPD funding: All registered Nurses , Midwives , Art Therapists , Drama therapists , Music therapists , Chiropodists/podiatrists , Dietitians, Occupational therapists , Operating Department Practitioners , Orthoptists , Osteopaths , Paramedics , Physiotherapists , Prosthetists and Orthotists, Radiographers , Speech and language therapists.

Will be free to book and attend but the cost (£52.50) will be taken out of your £333 CPD Allowance for this year. Charges for inappropriate roles will apply.
