Stepping into the role of Computing Subject Lead can feel daunting—but it doesn’t have to be. This practical Tech Tuesday session is designed to give new (or aspiring) computing leads in primary schools the confidence, clarity, and tools to get started and make an impact straight away.

In this session, you will:

  • Understand your school’s starting point by reviewing curriculum, resources, and teacher confidence
  • Explore the key responsibilities of a computing subject lead, from policy and online safety to curriculum planning
  • Learn practical ways to build staff confidence through CPD, support, and resources
  • Discover strategies for mapping progression, making cross-curricular links, and planning enrichment opportunities
  • Gain solutions to common challenges such as limited devices, teacher confidence, and time pressures
  • See how to review progress, evidence impact, and set achievable goals for the year ahead

These 30-minute webinars run every Tuesday from 4:00–4:30pm, giving you bite-sized, practical EdTech and leadership support that fits into a busy school day.
