New to the role of School Science Technician

Are you new to being a school science technician? Don’t panic… we have a local two day training course to get you up and running!

The two days are set over two weeks, to ensure your department is not understaffed. Over the course of the 2 days we will cover:-

• Understanding the role
• Navigating CLEAPSS
• Health and safety
• Chemical use
• Equipment
• Basics of all three sciences, with a chance to try some simple experiments
• Requisitions and planning
• How to supply materials to class
• Maintenance tasks… and more!

We will also seek to set you up with a buddy from your area (If you would like)

Optional online introduction is available on request for those that have a non-scientific background (or feel a bit rusty!)
