As part of the Sheffield Innovation Programme Sheffield Hallam University's Department of the Natural and Built Environment are hosting a dinner in partnership with Autodesk on Wednesday 8th November at Sheffield Novotel. The theme is new ways of working: future practice and education in architecture, engineering and construction.

Please join us to find out more about how cloud enabled design collaboration can improve the Building Information Modelling (BIM) process, and explore other new trends that may affect ways of working over the next decade.

Speakers include

Lee Mullin, Digital and BIM Specialist for Construction in Northern Europe at Autodesk, Lee
leads the European Construction Virtual Team for Autodesk. With over twelve years’ experience in digital construction workflows, Lee is a thought leader in how to implement these technologies to transform businesses.

Peter Hughes is a Chartered Architect and BIM Specialist for Whittam Cox Architects . A Certified Autodesk Revit Expert, #ukBIMcrew and #SteelCityBIM contributor, Pete works to raise awareness of existing best construction practice whilst keeping a keen eye on future technologies, philosophies and opportunities to drive value and efficiency in construction at all stages.

Drinks will be served in the bar at 6.30pm followed by presentations with dinner being served at 7.45pm.

This event is aimed at those in architecture, construction and engineering within the Sheffield City Region.
