About this Event
The afternoon will begin with Qigong warmups and activations to release physical & emotional tension and stimulate chi and blood flow in the body.
Alison will then lead you through the beautiful Dru Yoga Svadharma Dance. The translation of Svadharma is ‘living your life of purpose’. This is the essence and energy of the dance. Practice helps you resonate with your inner joy and find focus, strength,commitment and passion. During the dance, we will use mudras (hand gestures) to create energetic pathways and flow in the body. We will also focus on the symbology of the 4 warrior postures to feel the deeper meaning. Options will be offered to suit all levels.
After a tea break, Alison will lead you through Restorative Yoga postures and a long, Guided Relaxation.
If you already attend “Zoom” classes at Qigong Yoga Flow, the log in details are the same. If you are new to the online studio, Alison will send you the link when you book.
Alison Hughes has enjoyed teaching Dru Yoga since 2008 and Qigong since 2017. She is passionate about health and well-being and continues to increase her knowledge. At present she is completing her 200 hour Qigong Teacher Certificate with Lee Holden. Her classes, based on Dru Yoga and Energy Work for self healing, are suitable for all fitness levels.
