Lincoln's Inn Social & Wellbeing Group requests the pleasure of your company for an evening which will include guidance and talks on yoga, good food and and the use of essential oils to promote health and wellbeing.

Gut-wrenching, stomach churning, butterflies in the pit of your stomach and brain fog can be all too real. The gut is sensitive to emotions like anger, anxiety, sadness, and joy and the brain can and does react to signals from the stomach. Research increasingly points to the brain and the gut as integral to good health. The conference looks at how those links can be made and how we can improve our general health by improving our diet. By taking a mindful approach to our day to day existence, identifying our triggers and understanding why and how they shape our choices we have the key to success.

Stress, lack of time, juggling cases, chambers commitments and family life means those good intentions to exercise, eat a balanced diet, and complete a dry or vegan January may have been abandoned before the month draws to a close.

The enhancement of our physical and mental wellbeing does not always require major change.
As barristers we like to research and prepare our cases in order to act fearlessly on behalf of our clients. This conference will challenge our knowledge and understanding giving us the tools to enable the small changes that will enhance our lives and reduce the churning mind and stomach.
