Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, we have 45 marked bays at the venue plus cars can park up on the left hand side of our lane as you pull into the venue from Church Lane (making sure there is adequate space for emergency vehicles to get through.)

Do you have disabled access?

Accepted Answer

This is a Tudor barn in the grounds of a Mediaeval manor house and so is not ideal for disabled guests but with care and forward planning, they can be accommodated, and we have a disabled loo. Please speak to us about this in order for us to explain further.

We are looking for our wedding venue, is this event suitable for us?

Accepted Answer

Yes absolutely! It is a perfect time to visit and see the barn set up for a wedding. Our team will show you around the barn and grounds and can answer any questions. Look out for special discounts on the day!

We have already booked our wedding with you.  Can we attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes absolutely! It is a perfect time to visit and see the barn set up for a wedding. Lots of our preferred suppliers will be with us so a great chance to chat with them and look at services for your wedding.

Question 5

Is the event suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

You are most welcome to bring children to the event but they must be fully supervised at all times - both inside the barn and on the grounds.

Is the venue licensed for Civil Ceremonies?

Accepted Answer

We are very lucky as we have an indoor and outdoor licenced civil ceremony space. For indoors we have our beautiful Inner Barn with a working fireplace and outside we have our unique amphitheatre which has views over the River Arun and South Downs. Both spaces can accommodate 130 guests.

Can you accommodate church services for a wedding?

Accepted Answer

Yes, guests can park at Bury Manor Barn and walk a short distance to the church. There is a path from the church to the venue – meaning guests only have to park once.

Question 8

How many guests can you accommodate for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

For a seated breakfast in the Outer Barn we can accommodate a maximum of 150 guests unless you combine both the Inner & Outer barns and then we can seat 240.
