Sing as though no-one is listening...
For the first time in Newark, there is a chance for tuneless singers - those who love singing to sing.
You may have been told at school or by your partner or children to stop singing because you are 'tuneless'. You may refuse to sing citing 'I'm tone deaf', however only a small percentage of people are truly tone deaf.
At Newark Tuneless Choir we believe lack of confidence and practice may result in individuals not singing in tune nevertheless we also believe its everyone's right to sing like no one is listening.
The choir will be led by Nikki Whittaker who has experience of being involved in community music groups and believes passionately that anyone should be enabled to express themselves through song no matter of ability or experience.
Nikki attended the West Bridgford Tuneless Choir with a friend and was 'blown away' by the social, physical and emotional benefits people were talking about since joining the choir.
