Description

The Governing Body of Newbury and District Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) meets in public four times per year to discuss local health issues and to make decisions about local healthcare services. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the meetings.

The meeting agenda and board papers are published 5 days before each meeting in public.

You may register to attend up to 12 noon the day before each meeting, this is also the deadline for submitting questions, relating to the agenda, in advance for the Governing Body to consider.

What is the purpose of the meeting?

To bring policy options before the Governing Body for debate, discussion and decision making. To enable the Governing Body to monitor the performance of the organisation, and to fulfil its obligations of accountability and probity.

Who can attend governing body meetings in public?

Any member of the public or staff of any organisation is welcome to attend.

Can members of the public ask questions during the meeting?

Time is allocated at each meeting for questions from the public, which must be submitted in advance to the governing body before 12 noon the day before the meeting takes place. Please note that questions must relate to the agenda and are limited to a maximum of three questions per person.
