This linear walk explores the sites of strange experiences and uncanny legends, relating them to the history of the locale and theories of the paranormal.
We will take in two Greens - the old Newington Green and the new Butterfield Green - connected by an ancient trackway.
The walk lasts approx. 2 hours (give or take). Recommended age: 15+ (not recommended for children - sorry!)
Meet in front of Lizzy’s on the Green Café (by the central entrance on the west side of Newington Green). The walk ends at The Shakespeare Pub on Allen Road N16 (see map and pics).
Please do arrive a few minutes before the start time. This is quite a long walk and I will be starting promptly!
I walk in (almost) all weathers, so come prepared. The terrain is mostly flat, with a few uneven and dark surfaces, some steps and a few roads to cross. I take a max. of 15 people on each walk.
