A trio comprising Hywel Davies (melodica) Richard Llewelyn (guitar) and Ron Phelan (bass).

Playing ’gypsy-style’ jazz, Newton Toad’s repertoire includes ‘early’ jazz tunes and tunes made famous by the Hot Club of France (Django Reinhardt/Stephan Grappelli), folk tunes, and even some Tango and Bossa Nova.
