About this event
Join Next 100 Years and series sponsor, Irwin Mitchell, for an exclusive online premiere of the latest films from our Next 100 Voices series.
Next 100 Voices is our exciting new film series championing women in positions of leadership to encourage the next generation of aspiring lawyers to pursue their ambitions.
We are very excited to premier the film of Ariel White-Tsimikalis, Partner at Goodwin Procter, as well screening of Abimbola Johnson's film, premiered in May.
After watching these short films, Ariel White-Tsimikalis will join us in a 'fireside' discussion of the messages emerging from her film.
The event will conclude with a panel featuring:
Alison Eddy (host) - Managing Partner of Irwin Mitchell, London
Dana Denis-Smith - Founder of Next 100 Years
Gurpreet Lalli - Co-chair of IMRespect, Irwin Mitchell's race diversity and inclusion networking group.
They will discuss the story behind creating the series, leadership, and the importance of female voices.
Join us for inspiring and entertaining evening!
Ariel White-Tsimikalis:
Ariel White-Tsimikalis is a partner in Goodwin Proctor's Technology and Life Sciences group and Capital Markets practice. She specializes in advising corporates, financial institutions and private equity funds on equity capital markets transactions and general public company advisory matters.
As one of only a handful of black female partners at a top law firm in the UK, Ms. White-Tsimikalis is passionate about contributing to a stronger pipeline of diverse lawyers in the legal profession and is therefore particularly active in the Diversity & Inclusion space both within her firm and externally as well as part of her broader ESG practice.
About Next 100 Voices:
In our first series of Next 100 Voices, 10 emerging leaders in law from minority backgrounds and a cross-section of the profession – private practice, in-house, the Bar and the judiciary – share how they got to where they are now, what they are doing to change their area of the profession, and what lessons they can give to the next generation.
