This session is designed for children of Primary school age who have already mastered cycling independently on two wheels. It is a fun session which is perfect for any child looking to improve their bike handling skills (starting, stopping, gears, manouvering etc). The session will be led by experienced cycling coach, Paul Ashman.
Bikes and helmets are available to borrow or you can bring your own. All riders must wear a helmet to take part in the sessions.
Please ensure that children are wearing suitable shoes and clothing for cycling and the weather conditions. The sessions will continue in wet weather and will only be cancelled if a weather warning is in place (e.g storm), all participants will be contacted in advance if this is the case.
Sessions will take place on the main cycle track.
These sessions are provided thanks to grant funding from Sport England's Movement Fund. They ARE NOT for children on stablisers or those who have not yet learned to cycle independently. We offer learn to ride sessions seperately, please take a look at Swindon Cycle Campaign's Eventbrite page for learn to ride sessions.
