NFER: The Skills Imperative 2035
Overview
What jobs will exist in the future and what skills will be needed to do them? How can we support young people to access growing occupations? Come along to this webinar to hear answers to these questions and more, from NFER’s five-year research project ‘The Skills Imperative 2035: Essential skills for tomorrow’s workforce’. Their report - called ‘The Skills Imperative 2035: Creating a system of lifelong learning to provide the essential skills for tomorrow’s workforce’ – highlights that up to three million jobs in declining occupations could disappear by 2035, and provides recommendations for building a system of lifelong learning which supports more workers to reskill and transition, and equips young people with the skills they will need to thrive and get into work.
