Supported by Creative Skillset, NFM Academy Plus which aims to help those with a little experience gain an understanding the various departments within a production. A range of events will explore Make up, Production Office, Art Department, Costume and AD Department and the career opportunities in each.
Richard Lingard is a freelance 1st Assistant Director with over 25 years' experience, working on many different types of production all over the world. Working on Feature Films, Commercials, TV productions and Shorts, Richard has enjoyed many opportunities to work with some of the best directors and film crews in the business. From his first job as a Runner for Ridley and Tony Scott to looking after Christian Slater's cigarettes during takes on 'Prince of Thieves' and directing a crowd of 10,000 extras in India, Richard brings a wide range of AD and production experience to advise and share with the next generation of Assistant Directors
