Join Nature Picture Library, one of the world’s leading specialist photo agencies, supplying still and moving images of wildlife as they share tips on how to build, maintain and monetize an archive.
The team will talk through the entire process from pitching to licencing, covering the technical, business and relationship aspects of working with agencies. Whether you are looking to sell your own content or licence content for an upcoming project, the team will share tips on how to work successfully with archive.

Our Speakers
Helen Gilks
Helen is the owner and managing director of NPL since 2002. She set up the library when it was part of the BBC NHU and before that managed the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition. A few years ago she decided the library should offer video clips as well as stills.
Laura Sutherland
Laura has worked with NPL in the sales team for 8 years. Her clients include TV companies wanting to purchase footage or stills. Laura has a Biology degree and an MSc in Biological Photography and Imaging, and previously worked on Wildscreen’s ARKive project.
Milo Newman
Milo Newman is responsible for video workflow at NPL from processing submissions, selecting clips and then preparing them for the website. When not in the office Milo is a photographer and will shortly be starting a PhD at Bristol University.
