NHS Careers Event 2017

Discover the world of Healthcare and Social Work through our FREE event at Middlesex University. This is a great oppotunity for members of the Barnet community, to have a better insight into a variety unexplored roles within the NHS.
The event will explore both clinical and non-clinical roles in the sector.
Exhibitors from several organisations - trusts,colleges and universities amongst others will be there. You will have a chance to engage with Royal Free Hospital, The Army, Barnet and Southgate College and Warman Freed Pharmacy, just to name a few.
There will be a variety of presentations to provide you with a more informed approach to getting into the sector.
- How to get into a health related degree (Julie Moody, Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing)
- Apprenticeship programmes within the healthcare sector (Royal Free London and Hawk Training)
- Is medicine the right career for me? (Dr. Su Laurent, Paediatric Consultant at Royal Free London)
- An overview of the NHS (Louise Morton, Dean of Healthcare Professions, Health Education North Central & East London)
There will also be a careers advisor present with the online 'My Careers Match' tool available, to be able to provide you with direction and advice.
