“NHS finances made simple”

Money will be a crucial factor in the transformation of the NHS over the coming years. Additional funds have been committed by the Government with the purpose of investing in new models of care, yet much of this money could end up being spent on sustaining current services. Furthermore, new money begins to dry up after next year and so there will be a close emphasis on continue to improve productivity to meet growing demand.

This event provides an overview of the current issues in NHS funding and finance, with contributions from key experts monitoring the issues closely. It also offers an insight into important initiatives and thinking on NHS finances to give a glimpse of the future.
