See you there!
Becky and the NHS Hack Day team
NHS Hack Days are weekend events that bring together healthcare and technology professionals and other “geeks who love the NHS” to help improve NHS IT.
What makes NHS Hack Days different is that we are committed to welcoming people who don’t necessarily have computer skills to our events. We want everyone with any interest whatsoever in healthcare technology: healthcare professionals, patients and their relatives, representatives from charities, and anyone else who wants to help out, or even just to see what we’re doing.
We'll invite credible judges and offer some great prizes (and limited-edition t shirts). We'll even throw in a free lunch on both days, and you know the rules about saying no to one of those...

0900-1500: Hacking (free lunch at lunchtime)
1500-end: Presentations and prizes
Do I need to come to both days?
Strictly, no, but most people end up working on the same project over both days.
Is the venue fully accessible?
Yes. There is step-free access into (and out of) the building, and to toilets.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The venue has no parking, and parking in this area of Newcastle is limited to NCP car parks. We strongly recommend using public transport if possible.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Ideas and willingness are always welcome. A laptop is a good idea. We can never have too many extension cords.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No -- all you need to sign in is your name.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
We'd like it if you could email email@example.com if you want to change anything, as we love to know who comes to our events.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
