NHS National Temporary Staff Conference 2017
Update: Stand space now fully booked!
NHS Trusts continue to spend billions of pounds on temporary staff each year and to curb costs, new control measures have been introduced including agency rate caps.
The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub will be hosting its sixth annual temporary staffing conference on 16th March 2017, to debate the issues around temporary staffing. Suppliers are invited to book stands at this national event, which attracts around 200 senior HR-related staff - with agency buying power or influence - from all over the UK.
The agenda and speaker list is still being finalised, but will be uploaded here in due course. As in previous years, the conference will include high calibre speakers from the Department of Health, NHS Trusts and industry bodies.
THE EXHIBITION AREA IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
Stand booking is restricted to supplier on publicly tendered, public sector framework suppliers ONLY. (Please note that off-framework subsidiaries, sister / parent companies and sub-contractors are excluded and reference to these on the day is strictly forbidden.) Examples of eligible frameworks include the NHS CPP clinical staffing framework, as well as similar frameworks offered by CCS and HTE. If in doubt, please contact the event manager before booking.
The ground floor exhibition area is now fully booked and we have opened up a new exhibition area directly above on the first floor, with its own catering station. (NHS delegates have to go upstairs through this section to get to all the seminar and break out rooms, so this area will have excellent footfall, similar to that on the ground floor.)
There will be around 40+ stands* in the main exhibition halls (Upper and Lower Floors) and refreshments will be served in these areas. Booking a stand includes entry for two supplier delegates to all seminars and includes lunch. All stands include a 6ft trestle table with equivalent space behind to put up roller banners or small pop-up stands. Additional supplier delegate tickets are available to stand holders to purchase at a discounted rate.
You will be able to choose your stand number as part of the booking process. Please view the locations of stands on this plan before booking. Stand numbers showing as unavailable on the registration form will have already been booked.
There is the option to pay by invoice if preferred. Select this option from the drop down menu on the booking form.
Supplier sponsorships of (A) Lanyards (sold out); (B) conference bags; (C) delegate writing pads/pens are available on a first come first served basis. The opportunity for stand holders to include a case study in the delegate packs (one per stand booked) is available at a cost of £200+VAT.
COSTS OF ATTENDING AS SUPPLIER
- £1350 + VAT for a supplier stand including TWO delegate places at the seminars, including lunch.
- Stand holders who want to bring additional delegates can book extra places at the reduced cost of £195 + VAT, including lunch and entry to the seminars.
- Sponsorships are available at a cost of £650+VAT each for A) lanyards B) bags and C) pens/pads and £200+VAT each for D) case study insert into the delegate packs.
* We reserve the right to adjust the number of stands depending on the level of bookings. If adjustments are needed, we will endeavour to keep previously booked stands in the same vicinity as originally booked.
