About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

This event is for members with membership in both the 1995/2008 and 2015 NHS Pension Schemes.

Whether you are approaching retirement or just starting out in your career within the NHS, planning for your future has never been more important.

This event is for any worker in the NHS who is a member of the NHS Pension Scheme and is looking at exploring their retirement options. The session will provide information on:

• The different options available to you

• How to apply for your pension benefits

• Eligibility for taking a lump sum

• Retire and return

• And much more

This event is officially delivered by the NHS Business Services Authority who administer the NHS Pension Scheme on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care.

The event is an hour and a half long and includes a presentation and Q&A for anyone to ask questions at the end.

The event is free to attend but spaces are limited and tickets must be booked in advance.

We are working on producing videos of each session which will be available to view on our website and YouTube channel.

If you register and then are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can reallocate your reserved place to the next available person.

Please be aware that occasionally events may be cancelled if there is a low uptake and places are still available on alternative dates for the same event. If this is the case, we will contact you with details of the alternative dates available.
