Event description

Description

Do you want to know more about clinical trials and how to get your product into the NHS? The session will be led by Karen Livingstone, Director of Industry Engagement, Eastern AHSN and leading experts on these topics.

What you can expect to learn:

  • about whether you need to do a clinical trial, dos and don'ts, who to speak to and how much might it cost.
  • hear about the world-leading expertise and facilities to support clinical trials in the Eastern AHSN region and how to access these benefits for businesses working in the health, life science, medtech and digital health space
  • outline of the NIHR Research Design service and how it will help SMEs develop clinical trial funding submissions
  • key opportunities for healthcare innovators - where are the priority areas? What innovations might have the best opportunities

In addition to the lunchtime session, we are offering one-to-one bespoke surgery slots.

This will be provided by a business mentor and a health specialist. Each surgery will last 40-minutes. Spaces are limited and slots will need to be booked in advance. Please ensure that your application is received by Friday 15 September 2017. Note that your request for a surgery slot does not guarantee you a place. Places will be confirmed via email no later than the 22 September 2017.

Only one surgery place per organisation is permitted.
