Nicer Tuesdays: Humour
Tuesday, 27 January 2015 from 19:00 to 21:00 (GMT)
We all know January can be a tough month, which is why Nicer Tuesdays is back in 2015 to present four talks on humour to ease the New Year blues.
Joining us is Wilfrid Wood, a London-born sculptor and formerly the head builder for satirical TV show Spitting Image to discuss his excellent portfolio of work, as well as Matilda Tristram, the illustrator responsible for the raw but humorous comic Probably Nothing, which charted her experience of surviving cancer whilst pregnant.
Also speaking is our very own Karl Toomey, senior art director at INT Works and all round funny guy, taking us through various projects including his Gary Goals posters which caused a stir across the football world and beyond last year, and Mr. Bingo, lifetime friend of the site and master of pens who's promised us some new and unseen work. Exciting!
As always the drinks are on us just to make dry January that little bit harder.
