Join Private Chef and owner of With M - Michaela Hanna, and HR Running Coach - Hannah Rayner, for a morning of trail running and brunching
About this event
Starting from Pateley Bridge and Bewerley Memorial Hall, Hannah will take runners on a 8-10km guided trail run up and around the beautiful riverside footpaths and hilly trails of Nidderdale. The off-road route will provide a great opportunity for you to practice your trail/hill running technique and take in some seriously breath-taking views! To take part in this activity you should be able to run 10km at whatever pace feels good for you - leave the logistics to us.
Brunch will be ready on your return from exploring the countryside, sure to replenish your body and reward your efforts. Whilst running up and down hills you can expect M to have prepared the following for you to feast on:
- Fresh fruit compotes, yoghurt, granola, honey and seeds
- Oak roast salmon and potato frittata
- Eggs benedict
- Proper pancakes with sweet and savoury toppings
- Pastries, breads and local jams
- Tea, coffee and juices
(Please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking)
We will run whatever the weather so approriate kit is a must and should include:
- Base layer
- Waterproof
- Buff/gloves/hat
- Warm kit/change of clothes for return to Hall for brunch - there are plenty of changing facilities, though please note there are no showers
The session will include:
- How to warm up effectively before you run
- Introduction to running technique
- Top tips on how best to run up (and down!) hills
We hope this will be a great look forward for what's typically known as a bit of a 'meh' month, and fantastic opportunity to join a group of like-minded people, who enjoy moving and eating!
