About the Dow Lecture
Established in honour of prominent economist Christopher Dow, a former Deputy Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) and Executive Director of the Bank of England, the annual Dow Lecture seeks to explore current issues within macroeconomic policy. Past speakers include Professor Martin Weale CBE and James Bullard, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
About Professor Silvana Tenreyro
For 2022, we are looking forward to being joined by Professor Silvana Tenreyro, winner of the 2021 Yrjö Jahnsson Award, an external member of the Monetary Policy Committee and Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics.
