Research for Impact Seminar series: Nigeria’s quest for diversification through agriculture and the wider issues

Research for Impact Seminar series is organized by Proficient Research, Innovations and Development (PRID) at regular intervals as needs arises. The series focus on wide topical issues especially as it affects developing countries. Each seminar is expected to run for 2-3 hours; registrations, presentations, pitches, discussions and networking. Actual format and agenda may differ from one seminar to the other. This is one of PRID’s programmes where opportunities exist for presentations and pitches to be made by academics (lecturers, researchers, students) and non-academics (policy makers, professional agricultural scientists, food scientists, food technologists, farmers, food processors, agri-food business owners) alike.
Presentations by each speaker will last for 15 minutes; presentations and discussions (question and answer).
There is also opportunities for pitch presentations; each pitch presenter will have a maximum of 4 minutes.

Participants, whose presntations in word format are accepted, will then be required to prepare power point presentations which should range between 5-16 slides for participants with presentations. They are expected to send their presentations to us at email@example.com. Pitch Presenters: Pitch presenters can prepare 1-2 power point slides and send to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pitch presenters are also free to pitch without submitting any document to us prior to the event.
