So that everyone involved *is* involved, not a spectator.  You can't just come in your work clothes - this is a special occasion.

Fetish, academic, school uniform (or *any* uniform), evening dress (that is a posh frock for ladies and a tuxedo for gentlemen - not a 'lounge suit')

No, but we are very glad when people step up to the plate and join in.  We're British, dammit, and we did not win the 1966 World Cup by being shrinking violets.

What are the school classes?

School classes - naughty pupils are welcome to assemble in the classroom for a return to 'the happiest days of their lives'.  (They weren't that happy, obviously, cos the teachers could give you the cane and, in our classroom, that will probably happen to you)
