Each year Spike Island offers fellowships to promising graduates. These artists, selected from an open call to students, are offered studio space at Spike Island for a year. This opportunity aims to support and encourage young artists in Bristol as they begin to develop their professional practices.

We are excited to introduce our new Graduate Fellows for 2020–2021: Caroline Vitzthum (Bath Spa University), Esther Hesketh (UWE Bristol), and Isaac Jordan (UWE Bristol).

This event sees them introduce themselves alongside outgoing fellows: Kiara Corales, Gwen Davenport, Leah Jordan, Courtenay Welcome, and Dreamtime Fellow Izzy Mooney, who share their experiences at Spike Island and discuss their aspirations for the future.
