An exciting one-day, interactive event that will identify the challenges and rewards of taking a great innovative idea all the way from concept to commercial product. This event is open to clinicians, patients, academics, scientists and industry partners looking to work together to advance patient care by accelerating new science and technologies into patient benefit.
Professor Christofer Toumazou - Regius Professor of Engineering, Director of the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology, and Chief Scientist for the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College
Professor Jon Cooper - Vice Principal Innovation & Knowledge Exchange (Research Strategy and Innovation Office), University of Glasgow.
Professor Karl S.Coleman - Professor Karl S. Coleman, Director of Research, Dept. of Chemistry, Durham University.
Dr. Sabine Hauert - Lecturer at the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and University of Bristol with expertise in swarm robotics for biomedical applications.
The Colorectal Therapies Healthcare Technology Co-operative is a national forum for the development of technologies and minimally invasive therapies in colorectal disease.
The National Meeting 2015 will bring together the current key players in the HTC's national network - including experts in the HTC's 3 key research themes of nanotechnology, biosensing and engineering - and introduce and welcome potential new collaborators. The day will include talks by celebrated keynote speakers who will share their personal experience of the innovation pathway. There will also be networking sessions, an industry expo, poster presentations and lots more!

There is exihibition space at this year's meeting and we are offering companies and funders the chance to have a stand to showcase new products and funding opportunities.
We are running a poster exhibition where researchers can display current research relevant to colorectal disease.
