Event description

Description

The North East Council for Allied Health Professions’ Research (CAHPR) is pleased to host this event on NIHR fellowship funding. This event is targeted at senior organisational leaders and managers who have a role in encouraging, facilitating and supporting fellowship applications within their organisations as well as at individuals currently developing fellowship applications. The session will provide an overview of the benefits of hosting NIHR fellows and then further focus on the process of jointly developing and supporting competitive fellowship applications across the NHS and higher education. The event focuses mainly on the Pre-doctoral, Doctoral and Post-doctoral fellowships, with the same broad principles applicable also to HEE/NIHR internships.

To get most of the session, the participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the generic information on NIHR Fellowships at https://www.nihr.ac.uk/our-research-community/NIHR-academy/nihr-training-programmes/fellowship-programme.htm.
