Event description

Description

As you may be aware, we have successfully been awarded funding to host one of the NIHR Medtech and In Vitro Diagnostic Co-operatives (MICs) here in Leeds, effective from January 2018. This follows on from our success with hosting the NIHR Diagnostic Evidence Co-operative Leeds (DEC).

The NIHR MICs will build expertise and capacity in the NHS to develop new medical technologies and provide evidence on commercially-supplied in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests. Funding will be provided over five years for us to act as a Centre of expertise; bringing together patients, clinicians, researchers, commissioners and industry.

We are delighted to invite you to attend the launch event for the NIHR Leeds In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative, which will take place on Wednesday 7th March at Leeds City Museum, 09.30 – 17.00. There will be talks from a variety of speakers, including our theme leads and industry partners, with opportunities for networking. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We would be delighted to see you there!

We will circulate the final agenda closer to the date. If you have any queries, please feel free to get in touch.
