This is your opportunity to submit a poster for the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre Conference which takes place on 26 November 2025.
All submitted posters will need to reflect original research undertaken as part of the NIHR Nottingham Biomedcial Research Centre during 2024 or 2025.
All submitted posters will be reviewed by our panel of experts and prizes will be awarded for those assesed to exemplify one or more of the following criteria:
- Innovation in translational research
- Effective communication – posters presented in an engaging way and designed to be accessible to all audiences
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion - tackling health inequalities or research based on encouraging participation from populations seldom included in research
- National or international collaborations with other research institutions/organisations/NIHR infrastructure
Prizes
The judges will award prizes (based on their assessment against one or more of the criteria above). Each prize will be £250 of funding to support education, conference or travel costs for use from December 2025 to October 2026. The prize is for each poster (not each author).
Timing
Posters will need to be displayed between 08.30am and 4.30pm at the Conference.
Prize giving will take place at the end of the Conference. Poster authors should be available during this period to answer questions and to attend the prize giving.
Requirements
All posters need to be registered by 5pm on Monday 3 November 2025. Posters cannot be accepted on the day of the Conference if they have not been registered by the deadline.
Poster author(s) will need to print, deliver and affix their posters for display at the Conference.
Posters should be no smaller than A2 in size and portrait.
An allocated display board will be confirmed for all registered posters. We will provide the tools to fix posters for display.
Posters need to be in position by 8.30am on Wednesday 26 November (posters can be delivered to the venue on the day before and marked for the Conference, if required).
Any uncollected posters will be returned to the author(s) by the Conference team after the event.
