The purpose of the conference is to encourage innovation in the MSK research area through broad education and new collaboration. The MSK research area covers pre-clinical and clinical research. Our research expertise subtends techniques such as –omics and magnetic resonance imaging, as applied to clinical problems such as arthritis, pain, trauma and frailty. Few of us are aware of the exciting work going on across the whole of the MSK field. This conference will provide an interesting window into the breadth of this field.

In this conference, PhD students will give presentations on topics of general educational interest to others in the MSK research field, and these presentations will be interspersed with keynote talks of general interest from supervisors and experts.
