Come and join Bhakti and Carole for a Monday evening Yoga class.
A great way to start the week completely focused on your health and wellbeing.
Cultivating a regular yoga practice is an excellent way to build strength and flexibility. We combine traditional yoga asanas with pranayama breath work and meditation. We offer a blend of Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga.
We have a new class class starting 1 September 2025 from 6.15pm to 7.15pm which will provide a more gentle and slower placed class offering a blend between Restorative and Yin yoga.

I am Carole, one of your Yoga teachers. In 2022, I qualified as a 200 hours Yoga Teacher, training with Bryony Hammerton at the Be Yoga Academy in Haywards Heath. Prior to this, I became a Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) teacher through Deepak Chopra’s Education Programme in 2021 and led a PSM meditation circle for two years. In September 2024, I became a Certified Stretch Coach through YOGABODY®
I have always been searching for the meaning of life: Who Am I? What do I want? What is my purpose? What am I grateful for?
I have a daily meditation practice which helps to ground me each morning. I love starting the day with 25 to 30 mins of Yoga but it can be a challenge to maintain this as life throws so many demands my way. I am getting there!

I am Bhakti and I have been working in the healthcare industry for 20+ years. I have always enjoyed interacting with varied people and find it quite intriguing that underneath different guises, we are essentially very similar and often searching for the same things in life at a base level - feeling loved, feeling safe and being at peace.
I grew up in India and was introduced to the practice of Yoga and Meditation in my early years. I am fascinated with the phenomenal effect even an hour's practice can have on your week and in turn on your life.

Please wear something comfortable: Gym kit or similar is ideal. Avoid loose clothing that may restrict your vision when bending forward.
Mats and props will be available for use, free of charge. If you have your own mat then please feel free to bring it with you. Other useful items to consider include: water bottle, a jumper or something cosy for relaxation. A hairband, if you wish to tie up your hair during the class.
It is advisable not to eat a heavy meal before attending class. As a guide, allow 2 hours after a light snack, or 4 hours after a heavy meal. Drink plenty of water, come hydrated! Switch off your mobile - anything that dings, rings or buzzes should be SWITCHED OFF before the start of class.
Please aim to arrive 10 mins before the class starts, allowing time to check-in, remove your shoes and settle on the mat. The main entrance will be closed and the class will start promptly at the allotted time. To avoid disruption, late arrivals are not permitted.
If you have any medical concerns, an injury or medical condition, it is imperative that you seek advice from your GP or healthcare practitioner BEFORE attending a yoga class. You will be required to complete a New Student Form before your first class with us and include your medical conditions.
Payment will be via Eventbrite. You can book a class at anytime, even on the day and just before the start of class , provided provided there is a slot available.
If you have booked and paid for a class that you can no longer attend, please ensure that you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, on the app, to request a refund. There will be a small Eventbrite admin fee deducted. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, a refund will not be possible.
The standard class price is £15. For all new students, your first class is offered half-price. Use the promo code Nirvana50 at the checkout.
Your persona data will be held securely in line with GDPR requirements and will never knowingly be shared with a third party. Your data will be used respectfully, to communicate essential information relating to any classes that you are booked to attend or future events.
