Description

Don't get caught out by the many changes to legislation and regulation that are happening in our business. Cannock Chase Council and NLA representative Sandra Towers alongside guest speakers will tell you all you need to know in order to remain compliant. There will also be opportunites to talk to fellow landlords and enjoy a tea or coffee with some really excellent biscuits.

Andrew Punter, Cornerstone. Specialising in Property Tax matters and Stamp Duty Land Tax, one of the most complex and misunderstood taxes in the country. Andrew will explore a number of case studies he has worked through where Stamp Duty has been incorrectly calculated and how this was solved. (confirmed)

  • Do I have to be an NLA member to come along to the meeting?

Sandra Towers says, "I'm delighted to invite all landlords, letting and management agents to join us for this free event - and you don't have to be a member of the NLA to come along - so do let your friends know! If you are thinking of joining the National Landlords Association prior to the event, do quote my introduction code 139 to waive the joining fee."

  • What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?T
  • There is a small carpark available at the council. Once that is full there is a pay and display at Beecroft Road, opposite the council building. It is free of charge after 6.30pm, before that it is £1.20 per hour.
