David Menaghan, Commercial Finance Consultant, Key Commercial Finance Solutions Ltd
With recent changes in financial regulation, Landlords are facing a tough time raising finance. David will explain the pitfalls and provide current finance options available to landlords.
2.15pm – 2.35pm MEES and Grants Available to Landlords
Tony Hart, Eco-Efficient Floors
Tony will explain the history of the EPC, how they are determined and how landlords can increase the rating of their property along with grants available to achieve this.
2.35pm – 3.00pm Selective Licensing in Hull
Renee Young, Learning and Development Manager, NLA
Renee will provide an update on what is happening with selective licensing in the area and how the NLA has been helping landlords.

With increasing regulation, the law has become a minefield for many landlords to negotiate their way around. Dennis will happily answer any questions you may have.
4.10pm – 4.55pm Cannabis and Country Lines
Humberside Police
The police will give an informative talk on how cannabis farms are set up and run, the dangers that landlords and local residents may face and how to address it.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Hull University is situated a short drive from Hull City Centre and the bus and railway stations. There are regular buses from the city centre and Cottingham to the university campus. Parking is available at the campus as well as nearby roadside parking. Please see campus map for further details.
