NLP in the Workplace
Wed 9 November 2016, 10:30 – 12:30 GMT
NLP – standing for Neuro-linguistic programming has been around for half a century, and goes from strength to strength with over 100 million practitioners worldwide.
As the name suggests, NLP uses suggestion, visioning techniques and repetition to create new and more positive pathways between the neural connections in your brain.
This means that your brain stops working against your own best interests and is much more receptive to making worthwhile changes to your outlook and behaviour.
In this session, NLP practitioner Angela Gribben leads you through some simple NLP techniques and strategies that have helped her and millions like her to gain a better perspective during stressful times at work. You will learn to recognise the trigger points that are taking you down a stressful path, and some simple anchoring techniques that will help you to remain calm and productive at work.
This is a two-hour Bitesize session. You may also like to consider attending Great Negotiation Skills, which runs in the afternoon of the same day at the same venue.
