On January 27, 2017 the Netherlands Metabolomics Centre will organise it's annual meeting to bring together the Metabolomics community in the Netherlands.
This year's event will focus on the Gut Microbiome.
The meeting will feature lectures by invited speakers, networking breaks (coffee/lunch) and a poster session combined with drinks. A detailed programme will follow.
09:30 - Registration with coffee/tea
10:00 - Opening by Merlijn van Rijswijk (Director Netherlands Metabolomics Centre)
10:05 - "Introduction to “Gut Microbiome” and latest echnological developments relevant for microbiome research", by prof.dr. Thomas Hankemeier (Leiden University, Scientific Director Netherlands Metabolomics Centre)
10:35 - ”The maturation of the gut microbiome and risk of childhood asthma” by Jakob Stokholm (University of Copenhagen)

It will be possible to present a poster at the meeting. Please indicate in the registration form if you intend to bring a poster (poster specifications: A0 format, portrait).
- Participation is free charge for people working at NMC partner organisations (Universiteit Leiden, Universiteit van Amsterdam, TNO, PRI/RIKILT, UMC Utrecht, Radboudumc, Unilever, DSM, Janssen Pharmaceutica, MS-Omics).
- For other participants we will ask a fee of 100 Euro.
