Event description

Description

Revalidation is the new process that all nurses and midwives in the UK will need to follow to maintain their registration with the NMC.

Taking effect from April 2016, revalidation is straightforward and will help you as a nurse or midwife demonstrate that you practice safely and effectively. It will encourage you to reflect on the role of the Code in your practice and demonstrate that you are 'living' the standards set out within it.

This workshop will provide an overview of the NMC Revalidation process and will be experiential in nature and content. The workshop is best suited to registrants who are due to Revalidate in 2017. The event is for RCN members working in London.

This is an introductory workshop, with further events planned between February and April focused on Revalidation linked to social media, giving and receiving feedback and the reflective discussion.

Particpants are asked to bring along a copy of the NMC code to this workshop.
