The world of work is continually changing, and with it so must the modern workforce.
Discover how modern technologies are shaping our future and why human skills have a paramount role to play. Learn how EDI continues to play a key role in workplace innovation, and most importantly, how this applies to YOU, and what it means for Herefordshire's future.
Join us from 9am on Thursday 16 May for what looks to be a jam-packed day of learning, networking, and 'making things happen' for Herefordshire.

- Keynote Speaker: Dr Naeema Pasha - Speaker, Author, Business Owner (Futura) and Visiting Fellow at Henley Business School. Naeema is an expert on artificial intelligence, equity and behaviours
- Henry Hyde-Thomson, Chairman of Anglo Scientific discusses the impact of AI and robotics on the future of work -
- Peter Warren, investigative journalist, author, presenter of the PassWord radio and editor of Future Intelligence. Peter will talk about and AI and Ethics, he wrote about in his latest book 'AI on Trial'.
- Nick Glean, Senior Lecturer in Video and New Media at University of Sunderland. Nick will talk about the human skills needed in the world with Artificial Intelligence. He teaches film and media production using AI and Immersive technologies.
- Libby Moore, Executive Leadership Coach, International Speaker, former Chief of Staff to Oprah Winfrey. Libby will talk about the importance of the original AI (Authentic Intelligence) in an ever-increasing AI world (Artificial Intelligence) in a fireside chat. She will share golden nuggets mined from being exposed to some of the greatest thought leaders of our time while following her heart and taking giant leaps of faith.
- Suzanne Brink, Data & AI Ethics Lead at Kainos, prior to Kainos, I learned to bring AI ethics principles to practice in the high risk area of AI in recruitment and worked in HR policy, including roles in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
- Yasmin Ali, Project Development Manager (Hydrogen) at RWE. She recently published her first book, Power Up, is a primer on how we get, move and use energy and the ongoing energy transition across the globe. Yasmin will join Suzanne as a panellist discussing the significance of EDI and workplace innovation for future readiness
- Nick Butler, Economist and Visiting Professor Kings College London on Future Skills requirements in the enerrgy sector
- Dave Collins, Grey Matters UK, discusses the vital role of human skills in a tech-centric world
- James Newby, Chief Executive and President, NMITE discusses preparing Hereford to meet its future skills needs
- Jesse Norman, MP for Hereford and South Herefordshire will reflect on the day and provide closing remarks for the conference
