About this event

No Bars means just that - whatever your instrument (all are welcome, not limited to western orchestral instruments), whatever your experience of music-making (grades, no grades, learning off YouTube, never tried it but I’d like to) if you are aged 7+ with a love of music-making, we have a space for you in the No Bars Orchestra.

Rehearsals take place at Woodgate Community Centre LE3 5GE at 3:30p.m. - 5:00 p.m every Wednesday from 10th January 2024.

You will be joining a diverse group of young, motivated players who have performed at De Montfort Hall with the Leicester Symphony Orchestra, been part of the Grime Opera with partners NYJO and Pedestrian and who perform each year at the Leicester City Lights Switch-on festivities.

The orchestra is supported by the Leicestershire Schools Music Hub

    Costs £3.50/session

Free to families entitled to claim benefits, please book via this link.
