No one Here is Me is a powerful play created from real life interviews that highlights and exposes many of the complex issues that are affecting men’s mental health. It is a balance of loss and survival to create hope. No word in this play is fictional.

Here is our brand new trailer for the play :-

More about us:-

After her cousin, Gar took his own life in 2021, writer and founder, Sarah Winn set out to gain a better understanding of men’s mental health. She went on to form a piece of theatre, to powerfully convey and expose the raw, inner turmoil and pain that many men suffer to ultimately offer hope. Many survivors of suicide and depression spontaneously stepped forward to tell their story and to help expand Sarah’s understanding around this deeply complex decline in male self-worth.

With funding from the Arts Council, No one Here is Me was first performed in Kent in May 2023. The post show discussions clearly demonstrating how deeply the play, and its message, touched audiences, provoked thoughtful conversations and a determination for action.

Further funding enabled us to deliver two free performances at Margate Football Club and Maidstone United Football Club in March this year.

Feedback from audiences and venues :-

" It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sarah and Colette from No on Here is Me. The planning was spot on, and they were professional, open and friendly throughout our collaboration which helped things go all so smoothly on the Saturday evening.

The event was sold out with circa 80 guests and the play itself was powerful, moving, emotional and personally inspirational.

Giving people time to explore the impact of the play with a panel Q&A was a great idea and enabled the audience to share stories and explore the issues together.

Men’s mental health and suicide prevention gets a fair degree of airtime in the public domain, but the question remains on how we continue with this message and track progress to stop, help and prevent even one single suicide that impacts so many people."

Bob Gouldson, Director of Operations, Maidstone United F.C

"A really unique way of bringing such a wide variety of issues to light. Beautiful, sensitive and hard as nails"

Tim Woodhouse, Kent and Medway Suicide Prevention Programme Manager

"I couldn’t believe how many of the stories I related to on a personal level and with the post show discussion I realised how much it inspired me to think about, ‘What can I do?"

Audience member

"It felt like I was part of an army for good."

Garth Oates, Actor on project

"I’ve lost friends to suicide, 4 of them have been men. I wish they could have seen this play. I think it will help countless people & hope its value is appreciated enough to get the funding it needs to carry on. Thank you for bringing this to life & giving meaning to something so painful that has happened to you."

Audience member

"'No One Here is Me' is a powerful and deeply moving piece of theatre—tender, courageous, and unflinchingly honest. It shines a necessary light on the often silent struggle men face with mental health, capturing both the pain and the hope in their stories. In a world where stigma still silences too many, Sarah’s work doesn’t just open the door to vital conversations—it invites us to walk through with empathy, vulnerability, and strength. This play isn’t just art; it’s an urgent call to listen, to speak, and ultimately, to save lives."Wendy Robinson, Director of Services, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM)
