About this event

Join the LGBT+ Conservatives and the Coalition for Global Prosperity for a landmark panel at Conservative Party Conference 2025.

This first of its kind event will explore how the UK can cross the finish line in ending all new HIV cases by 2030, at home and abroad, while facing global funding pressures, deteriorating LGBT+ rights in high-prevalence countries, and the need to protect our world leading progress.

Hear from leading voices in HIV policy, the Conservative Party, healthcare policy specialists, and foreign affairs specialists on what it will take to ensure no one is left behind in the final push to defeat HIV.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Conservative Party Conference Holder pass to attend this event?

Yes. This event is taking place in the Secure Zone, so you will need a pass to gain entry.

Do I need to be a member of the LGBT+ Conservatives to attend?

No. You do not need to be a member to attend this event, however members will be given priority once we hit capacity and start a one-in / one-out policy.

Do I need to be a member of the LGBT+ community to attend?

No. Like all LGBT+ Conservatives events, this is open to all. Additionally, HIV is an issue that affects us all. Over 50% of all new diagnoses in the UK are for people who are not members of the LGBT+ community, therefore it is important that everyone is aware of HIV and gets tested regularly.
