No Picnic: Exploring Art & Research
Date and time
Description
To launch our book we're holding a picnic. The book presents what happened when researchers and artists explored each other's work in Furnace Park, which was, when we started, a wasteland. The project addresses the approaches we take individually and collectively within art, science and investigation. The picnic will celebrate and interrogate this process, featuring contributions from leading academics.
Would you like an advance copy of the book and be prepared to respond to it with a 2–5 minute comment at the picnic? You will stimulate the discussion about research, art and Sheffield and of course there will be a picnic provided. Or just come along! Please RSVP above so we know how many to cater for! Email matt.cheeseman@shef.ac.uk to speak.
No matter the weather, we'll still visit Furnace Park over lunch, so please bring an umbrella, sturdy shoes and a warm coat.
