Now anyone can play New Games on Zoom and then be able to do them with others. By demand, this class will go on. The reason is: it's fun!
About this event
It is possible that, where the rules allow, you can do New Games on Zoom AND live with people in the room with you, depending on the rules where you are and that you keep the proper distance if you’re not living with the person/people. You have to know the rules in your own area to make this work, obviously.
If you haven’t joined this class yet, it is not like any other Zoom session you’ve ever done. For one thing, it’s fun! We have laughed a lot during these sessions.
Join us! Last time we came close to filling up, so sign up soon so you don’t miss out.
To participate, you must be using a computer or tablet. You need to be able to see everyone to participate.
More info:
This new event will help you interact with others while also meeting social distancing guidelines! And, all presented on Zoom, though you could do these with a small group where you are. Learn New Games by playing them so you can use them on Zoom or live with family and friends who are in your ‘bubble’ and avoid the lock down blues.
People are quite hungry for a chance to take a break from all the dire news and meet in a fun way. It’s like taking a breath of fresh air - a chance to let all those worries go, to relax, get recharged. Play is needed now more than ever. While most New Games normally involve touching, there are a number that involve no touching and lend themselves to social distancing. It’s not hard to adapt these games.
Presented will be a number of New Games adapted for social distancing up to 1 hour on Zoom. Dale and participants will then be available to answer questions afterwards and tell about what they’ve learned about presenting the games on Zoom and live.
