Come and join us to celebrate 45 years of providing support services to young people in Reading.
Please note: you will have received a previous invite to this event but we have had to reschedule due to issues beyond our control
No5 provides support young people in our community: We provide free, confidential counselling to young people aged 10-25 in the Reading area and surrounds. We also deliver an outreach program which includes our school counselling provision, and our Young Ambassador scheme, through which we work with young people who have benefited from our services to spread awareness of No5 and educate others about mental health issues.
Our special guests include The Reverend Canon K. Humphreys, one of the first directors of No5, and Lillian and Adrian King, who were both involved back in 1971. Our Young Ambassadors will also be talking about their experiences of mental health and volunteering at No5, what their main concerns are and what services they would like.
There will be refreshments and a birthday cake, made by Reading College catering students.
