We are delighted to invite you to the NOCN Level 2 Managing Volunteers workshop run by Teignbridge CVS.
This course is accredited by NOCN, and on successful completion you will receive an NOCN Level 2 Award in Skills for Employment, Training & Personal Development
The course consists of 5 weekly Tuesday sessions of 4 hours each, from 8th November to 6th December. It is designed for anyone managing or coordinating volunteers within their role. The course will include the following units:
- Getting ready to involve volunteers
- Recruiting Volunteers
- Selection and Induction of Volunteers
- Supervising and Supporting Volunteers
- Retaining and Leading a Team of Volunteers

This course is open to all. We have sourced external funding to subsidise learners from Voluntary and Community (VCS) Groups in the Teignbridge Area. For these groups there are 2 levels of subsidies:
For small VCS organisations with income under £100,000 the cost is £80.
For larger VCS organisations with income of £100,000 or over the cost for this course is £132.

For all others the course cost is £262.
Please be sure you purchase the correct ticket type. Teignbridge CVS reserves the right to invoice the difference for tickets bought at a subsidised rate when the organisation is not entitled to that rate of subsidy. Please note that all payments must be completed prior to the start of the course.

Generally a maximum of TWO people only from a single organisation will be accepted onto any one training course. If you would like other places to be put on a waiting list please let us know at the time of booking and if spaces become available close to the date of the course, we will contact you.
All FREE courses are only available to Voluntary and Community groups.

Less than two weeks notice - full amount payable.
The CVS reserves the right to cancel or postpone courses, in which event a full refund will be offered. In the event of a course being cancelled, at least 3 days’ notice will be given, unless circumstances beyond our control intervene.
