NOCN - Level 3 - Meeting the Needs of the Learners with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
This 20-hour course is accredited by National Open College Network (NOCN). It is delivered over two full days and is aimed at SENCOs, teachers, teaching assistants working with individuals with ADHD but will also be beneficial to parents/carers and other interested parties.
It is recommended that individuals attending the course should have attended ADHD awareness training or experience working with individuals with ADHD.
Learners will have to complete a case study of approximately 1,500 at the end of this course.
This course can also be delivered half days, or evenings depending on need at individuals own premises.
Dates both dates of Thursday 9th March and Thursday 16th March
- Know what Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) means
- Be able to identify the impact that ADHD has on a person
- Be able to modifiy the impact that ADHD has on learning
- Be able to identify key principles of positive behaviour management
