What should I bring for the Accelerator Program?

You’ll receive a kit with combs, clips, and a razor. Please also bring your own scissors, dryer, and straighteners, plus your kit pack for every practical session.

What should I bring for a single session if I'm not on the Accelerator Program?

Please bring your own tools (scissors, dryer, straighteners, combs, clips). A doll’s head can be provided, but for quality it’s best to bring your own.

Can I do this alongside my college course?

Absolutely. We’ll respect your NVQ training and use this program to give you a head start for when you finish college and step onto the salon floor.

Is this a creative course?

It’s focused on real-world salon skills, not abstract creativity. The aim is confidence and problem-solving.

How many students per class?

Maximum of 10 students, with a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio to keep training personal and hands-on.

What if I miss a session?

Single-session bookings are non-refundable. Accelerator students who miss a class can catch up via our online portal, community group, and tutor support.

Is there parking?

Yes. We’re based on Whiteladies Road where street parking is free after 5pm, so parking is usually not an issue.

Respect is at the heart of everything. When someone speaks, we listen. We start and finish on time, and expect punctuality and a smart appearance. From day one, we want you to think, act, and look like the high-flying hairdresser you’re becoming.

What if I’m not getting on with the course?

If you’re struggling, we’ll support you — but commitment is key. Students who lose interest, disrupt, or stop attending on time may be asked to leave, with no refund, to protect the learning experience for others.

Do I already need to be doing clients in a salon?

No. This program is for almost-qualified stylists through to experienced professionals. A range of levels helps build leadership. It isn’t suitable for those with less than 1 year of hairdressing school experience.
