Who is this class for:
This workshop is for all abilities and includes lots of scope to improve your sewing skills and personalise your wall hanging. There will be a range of fabrics & decorations for you to choose from on the day. All abilities welcome.
During this workshop you will learn:
The skills and techniques you will learn will depend on your skill level and what you would like to make. Some of the skills you may learn include:
- How to thread a sewing machine
- How to wind and install a bobbin
- How to create an appliqué design with Bondaweb
- How to select stitch types and direct your stitches
- How to slip stitch
Materials & Equipment:
All the resources for this workshop will be provided.
I will supply a range of Christmas prints and coordinating fabrics and trimmings for you to use for decoration. Threads and Bondaweb and everything you will need to complete your Christmas product will also be available on the day.
A limited number of sewing machines are available to borrow, please let me know if you would like to use one on my machines. If you would prefer to get to know your own sewing machine a little better please feel free to bring your own.
